Course Trainer – Nigel Wickens

Nigel Wickens is a Chartered Quality Professional, a Member of The Chartered Quality Institute and has been a Registered Lead and Principal Auditor with The International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) for over 25 years.

Involved with quality management and auditing since 1988, Nigel has conducted audits and delivered consultancy services against all versions of ISO 9001 since then and is fully qualified for ISO 9001:2015.

Since 1996 Nigel has delivered two day and five day in-company and public training courses all over the world. His view is that auditing is rewarding and can be fun, therefore, training to be an Auditor should be rewarding and fun.

We are proud to announce that we have recently succeeded in achieving a quartet of first time standards for and with one of our clients! Managed 247 are an IT service management provider and with Qualico’s help are now certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 20000-1:2011  From beginning to successful certification with BSI took 9 months.  It has by no-means been an easy achievement and this is why we and our client Managed 247 are congratulating each other and ourselves.

Every beginning invariably follows an ending – which gives us opportunities to learn new skills and make changes toward success!

At Qualico we are looking forward to helping companies and individuals mark the New Year with changes for the updated standards. We have written two courses and two events to assist companies train their staff. We are also available for consultancy, gap analysis and other levels of support to help YOU through this important, essential and mandatory update.

We are, once again, involved in the Rail industry conducting an in depth audit for a main train operating company (TOC) and earlier in 2015 we wrote a Rail Specific Lead Auditor course commissioned by another TOC. This is based on the Railway Management Maturity Model (RM3).

Whilst the areas of environmental best-practice in business, corporate social responsibility and sustainability management might not seem to be hugely relevant to internal auditor training courses and in particular IRCA approved courses, the direct links are striking.
