Qualico launches Human Factors training

Aerospace is one of many industries where mistakes can have disastrous consequences for individuals and groups.

All aerospace companies are aware of the need to understand and manage risk. There is a legal obligation on aerospace companies under the EASA regulations to provide awareness training to employees:

EASA 145.A.30(e) Personnel Rquirements
states '...competence must include an understanding of the application of Human Factors and Human performance....'

We area able to offer Human Factors Awareness Training for all companies with an interest in human factors and its involvement in the management of risk.

Latest Qualico client is registered

White Horse Contractors Ltd. recently became the latest Qualico client to obtain registration to ISO 9001.2000.

As a 50 year old company there was some difficulty in changing working practices to meet new requirements but, with the support of their Qualico consultant - Rebecca Russell - White Horse made the necessary changes and improved ways of working to ensure their processes are consistent, cost effective, efficient and go beyond customer expectations.

The company MD, Robert G Donald said:

"Gaining ISO9001 certification has given White Horse Contractors a competitive edge in the industry and meant Pre-Qualification Questionnaires have become decidedly less onerous. The visibility of the company’s processes is of benefit to all staff but particularly new employees and allows more proactive decision making as a result of the additional information being available to management."

Qualico annual meeting
